LYNN DUVAL LUSE

BOARD MEMBER; FORMER CHAIR

As Director of Marketing and Programming for the Museum of African American History, Boston and Nantucket, Lynn DuVal Luse oversaw public and media relations, and developed a series of scholarly lectures and innovative concerts at some of the nation’s most important historic landmarks. Now retired from MAAH, she continues to serve community through work celebrating black history and black culture, such as the $3 million restoration of the Robert Gould Shaw and 54th Massachusetts Regiment Memorial and related programming, JazzBoston advocacy, and uplifting black artistry through Castle of Our Skins’ performance and education programs. DuVal Luse's early experience includes overseeing local television and international radio promotions for the WGBH Educational Foundation, and founding NIAmedia, a Boston-based marketing, design, and signature events firm.
